Some Comments About Peak's Ecommerce Service

We provide as much service as an ecommerce client needs - from building, hosting, and maintaining the shopping cart through inventory management, order processing, fulfillment and customer service. As noted later in the site, we can also supply inventory.

In addition to this range of integrated services, our clients benefit from:

  • our exceptionally low default rate in processing and fulfillment of ecommerce orders;
  • the immediate and personal service we provide to an unhappy customer, no matter the cause of
    his or her dissatisfaction;
  • the customer service staff's desire to learn about a client organization and its market so it can provide information and assistance as customers request it, even if the contact is not intended to lead to an order;
  • our transparent, comprehensible and simple cost structure.

The ecommerce client for whom Peak Fulfillment is best suited, both for-profit and non-profit, has a loyal following of customers, fans, or supporters - a constituency. It operates a well-trafficked website designed to provide information and service to that constituency. The site is regarded by management as a value-added outreach service to communicate the organization’s mission and meet the informational needs of its constituency. It adds to that site an additional mechanism to extend its brand and service - retail sales on the Internet. And selects Peak to sustain its ecommerce store. The store will sell carefully chosen, well merchandised affinity-products that relate to the mission of the sponsoring organization and to the interests of its constituents who visit the site for information, service, and ecommerce.

Our fundamental premise is to support online stores on web sites which meet these criteria, then to run each ecommerce store like a business - but position it as a service to the constituency. We know these clients are sustained by relationships, not by ecommerce. For them, the Peak service standard is not overkill - it is essential.

AN ALTERNATIVE - Retail sales are not our only service application. A client organization could have us operate a closed-end ecommerce store as a non-cash distribution system for its affiliate and subordinate organizations. Examples might be a national insurance company, fast food restaurant chain or real estate broker network. Organizations like these have branded consumables, promotional items, POP displays and/or facility logoware to be warehoused and distributed on demand from headquarters or on request from outlying units. For a client with this need Peak would build a password-protected website, manage inventory, process non-cash orders and distribute products as directed.
