Origin - Peak's parent company is VisABILITY - the largest supplier of fund-raising premiums to the nation’s public radio and television systems. VisABILITY is the only national station supplier licensed by national brands like Morning Edition, Car Talk, A Prairie Home Companion, Marketplace and about two dozen more. (Want to see some? Click here.) Since1986 Peak’s services were a department of VisABILITY known as The Public Broadcast Fulfillment Center.

Independence - In 2000, company owners decided to split operations into two corporations. VisABILITY continues as a product supplier. Peak is now the product distribution service center. Thus, Peak is a new company. With 16 years of experience.
Market Niche -  It doesn't matter whether an organization is non-profit or for-profit. Or whether it supplies a product, a service, or both. Peak is designed to serve membership and affinity groups in public broadcasting and beyond. We're ideal for an organization whose constituency carries a fierce commitment to its unique brand and service - college alumni and development programs; museum stores; professional associations; advocacy groups and certain for-profit corporations.
Current Clients - Peak Fulfillment now operates the following:
Ecommerce stores for programs broadcast by NPR, BBC and PBS. (Currently, the largest store is the Shameless Commerce Division of the NPR program Car Talk.)

Parcel fulfillment service to manage inventory and ship fund-raising premiums to contributors on behalf of 100 public radio and public TV stations nationwide.

Wholesale inventory management and distribution on behalf of NPR, This American Life, The Association of Junior Leagues International, Car Talk, Brink Inc., Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and the Jewish Heritage Video Collection.
Technology - We have state-of-the-art inventory management software. It handles real-time processing of ecommerce orders from web shopping carts. Customer service reps use it to process mail, fax and phone orders. Our custom online shopping cart is real time integrated with all systems to process credit card payments, shipment manifesting, inventory updates and related ecommerce tasks. This system is also an exquisite inventory management tool for non-sales transactions such as premium fulfillment for fund-raising programs, promotional bounce-backs for corporations and B2B inventory distribution within units of a large organization.
Size - Peak's size is a great competitive advantage. We can process thousands of orders a day, yet we are quite small by industry norms. Our size is a compelling asset because we retain the capacity to provide quick, flexible and personal service.
